Our youngest in the loft doorway a couple of years ago. This opening had a track for a door above it, but no doors.
My father salvaged these doors from a neighbor, when they replaced them with more modern doors. He asked me if I wanted them and thank goodness I said yes. I was able to find the old door hardware in the barn and when we fastened them this is what we had.
I will have to adjust my opening, but can you imagine a better fit? Opportunities arise every day, some of the time we can benefit from them, and some of the time they just aren't meant to be.
