Today was a snow day for the kids, the first of the year, always exciting. It's funny how the kids are somehow always ready to play outside when the first significant snow comes. When I called home to check on everyone, they had already been at it awhile. Most days it's tough to get them up and moving to catch the bus. They also had a big surprise for me when I got home, shoveling was all done, well most of it. I always wondered why my father would be outside still shoveling, when we were all done, now I know why. Fathers like it a certain way. The little girl above loves the snow too, she loves just about everything to do with the outside. Eve is 2 yrs old now and has turned into a great family dog. Anything Robin and I are doing she has to be right there, involved, just like she should be. Right now she is laying on my left foot, and Ginger, our other 2 year old is in her usual position, in front of the pellet stove. All is good.
