Pictures as promised

Robin's new wood decor line fresh from the Rutland show.

All of these pockets are designed to hang, but can be used just sitting on a shelf or mantle.

These candle holders will stand or hang also and are fitted with an electric candle.

Love the eggs!!

The Rutland show was a good experience for Robin, she made some good contacts and got to see some different vendors. The crowds were smaller than she was told they would be, and as she has seen with other shows, the economic climate is still weary. Robin went into this show with a different set-up, different crafts, and being a first time vendor. All these things considered, I feel she did excellent this weekend, it was a challenge that she met head-on. We are looking forward to this weekend in Lake George, familiar set-up, back to our bread and butter but with some new wood decor items.

Made By Mom

If you scroll down the blog, and look to the right, you will see a new button. Buy Mom Made is a neat idea to promote moms in business. You click on the button and it brings you to a list of over 400 different websites of all kinds of cool things. Robin's Floral Designs joined the list yesterday and I was able to check out a few of the sites, a good variety of goods and services. So if you have some time and want a unique, home made gift idea, check it out.

New from the Barn

Robin had the idea of this bench yesterday, so we scavenged around for some material, and this is what we came up with.

No need for distressing this wood, it is about 100 years old and has seen plenty of life. She will bring it together with some finishing touches and it will be ready for sale or display.

Busy, busy, busy

Robin is very busy working on many new designs for an upcoming show this weekend. She also has been working on some different things for the Christmas in the country tour. This is a action shot of Robin at her makeshift work area in the dining room. She does not like me behind the camera!

Just a few of the products Robin has been working on. She is cranking it up a notch for the holiday season. The fun part of the Christmas tour is we get to put our tree up earlier than we normally would. This is the last big push for the craft show season.
