Robin is in the process of putting together her ideas on products she will choose to take to a new shop in Fort Edward. It will be our first time in a consignment store. The owners are cleaning house in January and plan on having new artisans and new products in by February. There are about 50 artisans now and I would imagine the list will keep growing. This idea seems to be catching on in other small towns. After the turnout for the Christmas in the Country show and the comments that we heard from the people, it looks like people want that personal touch. They appreciate the work and thought that goes into these items. And doesn't it make it special to know the person who made it. Every time you use or look at that item, you think of the artisan, because there is a little of them in every one.
