Summer
Made some changes to the blog today, I hope you like them, I don't think I am done just yet.Took this a couple of days ago. The school year has ended and the kids can now focus on summer fun. Robin is having better luck in the weather department for this weekends show up in Lake George. Summerfest at Shepard's Park is coming to a close today, the kids and I will be heading to the lake, as the break down crew. We swoop in and help pack everything up and then hopefully get an ice cream for our efforts. I will post some pictures, of the show and breakdown process, later. Going to enjoy this very nice day, hope you do too.

New Pond pictures
The pond flowers and landscaping has filled in very nicely. I will try to get pics posted of the water lily open. The inhabitants also are filling in nicely.
Mr. Bigs or is this King? The kids usually name the frogs and they aren't around to tell me which guy this is, but he is definately the big boy in town tonight.

A Happy Father's Day indeed
Great day today with my wonderful family. Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there, hope you were able to enjoy your families as well. Now it's time to get geared up for Robin's next show, Summerfest at Shepard's Park, in Lake George. Let's hope for some good weather and many shoppers! Busy day planned for tomorrow as I am well rested from MY DAY. My son wanted to know why there was a Mother's day and a Father's day and no Son day. I said he had a day every week......... Sunday :)

More from the first show
These dolls were a hit at the first show. I kind of cut this ones head off but it was to show where she was sitting.

A spurtle and a weedpot
New spurtle from the lathe. A spurtle is used to stir most anything but was originally used for stirring porage. This one is turned from Cherry and finished with a light coat of mineral oil.
